Customise a cask with Hyde Irish Whiskey

Hyde Irish Whiskey is giving trade customers the chance to create a custom cask of its whiskey.

The new customisation service will enable trade buyers to purchase a personalised cask of its single malt Irish whiskey, finished to their specificiations to create a bespoke flavour profile.

After six to eight years' ageing in first-fill, flame-charred ex-Bourbon casks, the Hyde single malt whiskey is then finished for an additional six months in a cask of the consumer's choice, with more than 20 cask types to choose from.

Cask finishing options include Pedro Ximénez, Oloroso, Amontadillo and Fino sherry as well as Sauternes, Madeira, armagnac, calvados and vermouth.

Customers can specifiy their desired alcoholic strength (between 40% and 59% ABV) and different levels of charring. Hyde will also design a bespoke label for the single cask release.
