Audemus Spirits teams up with Michelin-starred chef for new releases

France's Audemus Spirits has launched two limited-edition products for the UK and European markets.

The Cognac-based creator of Pink Pepper Gin collaborated with Michelin-starred chef Anne-Sophie Pic and sommelier Paz Levinson on the new releases, Fractal 2.0 and Anne-Sophie Pic Gin.

Born from an experimental process, Fractal 2.0 seeks to shift away from defined spirits categories and is part of a limited-edition series of hybrid and 'freestyle' spirits from Audemus.

It combines a rose geranium eau-de-vie and cold-infused coffee to create a full-bodied, warm and floral flavour profile, and is designed to be reminiscent of and used like an aged spirit. Only 250 bottles will be available.

Meanwhile, the Anne-Sophie Pic Gin is inspired by chef Anne-Sophie's experimentation with flavours in her cuisine. It is made with French citron and Meyer lemons, cubeb pepper, passion berry, locally foraged juniper and Japanese smoked tea. A total of 570 bottles have been made available.

Audemus Spirits founder and distiller Miko Abouaf is a passionate experimenter, testing boundaries with botanicals and spices to create the brand's range of spirits and liqueurs. This approach saw the business crowned Craft Producer of the Year in the Icons of Gin awards 2020.

Fractal 2.0 and Anne-Sophie Pic Gin are avilable to order directly from Audemus Spirits.
