New drinks experience website Ooft! launches

A new website aiming to collate the best of the ‘drinking in and drinking out’ experiences has launched.

Ooft! was born out of the Covid-19 lockdowns in England and has been designed as an adaptable one-stop shop for drinking experiences – including cocktail recipes, cocktail delivery services, gift suggestions, and in-person and virtual events listings.

It is the brainchild of experienced drinks marketer and former bar manager Leanne Ware, whose new agency Distinctly Aware was named PR Agency of the Year at the Icons of Gin 2021.

Ooft! describes itself as ‘every imbiber’s path to discovering delicious liquids, tastes and flavours from the world of beers, wines and spirits’, encouraging people to enjoy the best of the drinking experience – both alcoholic and non-alcoholic – at home or in bars and other hospitality venues. 

To create the site, Ms Ware has partnered with drinks and cocktails specialists including World of Zing’s Pritesh Mody, Camille Vidal of La Maison du Wellness and The London Cocktail Club’s JJ Goodman, who have lent their expertise and cocktail know-how.

The site also offers shopping opportunities through drinks retailers including Master of Malt, The Whisky Exchange and Shop Cuvee.

Ms Ware says that Ooft! was ‘inspired by the acceleration of people wanting to learn about drinks, try new things and enhance their drinking experience in and out of the home’.
