Cognac Show reveals virtual line up for 2021

The Whisky Exchange Cognac Show has revealed a stellar line up for its 2021 virtual event.

The show, which is the world’s largest dedicated to Cognac, will take place in April and will feature a range of tasting sessions, brand talks and interviews with leading industry figures.

Hosted on virtual events platform Hopin, the event’s main stage will be hosted by The Whisky Exchange’s head buyer Dawn Davies (named Buyer of the year in the 2021 Icons of Whisky Rest of World regional heat). She will be joined by more than 20 representatives from Cognac brands and the wider spirits world for a series of brand-specific talks and Q&As.

More than 20 tasting packs will be available to purchase, suitable for varying levels of Cognac knowledge and covering different parts of the industry.

It comes as The Whisky Exchange saw a greater exploration of the Cognac category than ever among its customers in 2020, with volume sales up 114 per cent.

For the first time, the show will also welcome two French guest spirits – Calvados and Armagnac – with cameo appearances from famous producers and introductory tasting sets for both spirits.
