Jameson opens new TasteHouse at Dublin Airport

Travellers at Dublin Airport will have the chance to experience Jameson like never before with a new travel retail venue.

The Jameson TasteHouse opens in The Loop, operated by Aer Rianta International (ARI), in Terminal 2 of Dublin Airport this month.

It is a first for the brand in travel retail, which demonstrates Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail's commitment to innovate in a channel which has been challenged like few others by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The new venue will give customers the chance to learn more about the brand using touchless technology, and will showcase products including the GTR exclusive Jameson Triple Triple and the Irish Whiskey Collection and brand home exclusive Jameson Crested x Eight Degrees, as well as other products from the Midleton Distillery portfolio.

Visitors will also have the chance to sample Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail's Irish whiskey portfolio with regular tasting and cocktail-making sessions, once pandemic-related restrictions allow.

Like its whiskey collection, the architecture of the Jameson TasteHouse has also been carefully designed, with striking wall displays and hand-blown stained glass artwork created by Irish artist James Earley.

Mohit Lal, CEO at Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail, said: "We’re continually looking for ways to improve the experience of our consumers, and the Jameson TasteHouse illustrates our dedication to be at the forefront of innovation within the travel retail channel.

"Hosting the latest developments designed to excite, engage and adhere to post-pandemic demands, we are proud to have partnered with Aer Rianta International on this new concept store."

Ray Hernan, ARI CEO, said: "We are delighted to be chosen as the first airport partner to launch the Jameson TasteHouse. Jameson is a key driver of success for The Irish Whiskey Collection at The Loop, this will be a must visit, exciting destination for our customers."
