Pandolfini open new dedicated spirits department

Italian fine wines purveyor Pandolfini has announced the opening of a department dedicated to spirits sales.

With the announcement of this new department, it has also released the auction catalogue for its first spirits-only sale, set to take place on 29 June.

More than 150 lots are set to go under the hammer, including Cognacs, Armagnacs, rums and whiskies from some of the world's best-known producers.

Among the lots are:

  • Karuizawa Pearl Geisha Series 38 years Old Single Malt Japanese Whisky
  • Caol Ila 1966 20 Years Old Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky, special selection bottled at cask strength
  • Macallan 1951 Pure Highland Malt Scotch Whisky
  • Macallan Red Ribbon 1950 Single Highland Malt Scotch Whisky, bottled in 1980 
  • Scapa 1958 Orkney Malt Scotch Whisky, from Samaroli’s Handwritten Label Series

The auction will be taking place at Pandolfini's auction rooms at Palazzo Ramirez Montalvo, but those wishing to participate who cannot attend in person can make absentee bids, bid by telephone, or register on its online platform PandolfiniLive.
