Campari Group UK announces rebrand of Bisquit Cognac

Campari Group UK has announced a rebrand for Cognac brand Bisquit - which will be taking its original name, Bisquit & Dubouché.

The brand will join the Campari Group UK Prestige Challenger portfolio, alongside names such as Grand Marnier and Glen Grant.

Conceived in 1819 by Frenchmen Alexandre Bisquit and Adrien Dubouché, the brand was founded with an innovative approach to distillation. The duo went to great efforts to publicise and share their Cognac, and by the end of the 19th century Bisquit & Dubouché was the third most exported Cognac in the world.

The rebrand will see a new, more contemporary bottle introduced for Bisquit & Dubouché's spirits, with silver and black accents adorning the label, and a redesign for the brand's griffin symbol.

Two Bisquit & Dubouché expressions will launch in the UK in 2021: the VSOP, which is available to purchase now, and the XO, which will follow later in the year.

Brad Madigan, Campari Group UK's managing director, said: "With a rich legacy and history, and following its exciting relaunch in 2020, we are thrilled to announce Bisquit & Dubouché as a new addition to the growing Campari Group UK Prestige Challenger portfolio.

"As a Cognac brand recognised worldwide for its extraordinary quality and elegance, we are looking forward to bringing Bisquit & Dubouché to the UK market."
