Wine and spirits retailer Majestic has signed deals to stock two British ready-to-drink (RTD) brands.
The national UK retailer has launched partnerships with hard seltzer brand Served, which is co-owned by singer Ellie Goulding, and World of Zing, an RTD cocktail brand started by Pritesh Mody, cocktail guru and a regular on Channel 4's Sunday Brunch.
Served's lime and raspberry-flavoured hard seltzers will be available to buy in four-packs from Majestic, and the brand's co-founders Dean and Ryan Ginsberg will be hosting a series of virtual tasting and training sessions with Majestic staff across the country.
Dean Ginsberg said: "As a premium British hard seltzer brand, we are delighted to be working with Majestic, who are known and respected for their quality offering and highly knowledgeable staff."
Majestic buyer Jake Biggs said: "We're delighted to start working with Served Hard Seltzers and to be launching them into 30 Majestic stores. not only do the products taste great, but the brand has a fantastic sustainability story and ethos - using 'wonky fruit' that would otherwise go to waste, alongside being 100 per cent vegan.
"More and more of us are increasingly conscious of the way we drink, whether that's with lower calories, more sustainable credentials or lower alcohol levels, and we believe these will be a firm hit with our customers."
Meanwhile, Pritesh Mody has secured a nationwide listing for his canned cocktail brand, World of Zing, which he launched in 2014. In 2020 the company delivered more than 650,000 cocktails around the UK from its London base, and it now has listings with more than 250 venues across the country.
