Campari UK's Negroni Week returns

Campari UK is using its annual Negroni Week to shine a light on the UK's bartenders, to celebrate their talent and triumphs through the hardships of the pandemic.

Running this year from 13-17 September, Negroni Week is a celebration of the classic cocktail which features iconic red aperitivo Campari as a key component. According to research collated by Campari UK, the Negroni is the fourth most searched cocktail in the UK and consistently one of the top three best-selling classic cocktails worldwide.

Bars participating in Negroni Week will receive access to specially created assets, training and menus to help drive footfall into their venues and indulge in a Negroni - whether for the first time or the 100th.

To mark Negroni Week 2021, Campari UK has commissioned 11 bartenders and mixologists from across the nation to showcase their creative talents with a unique twist on the Italian classic. These have been collated in a digital book, Negroniology.

Campari UK will also be using Negroni Week to raise funds for hospitality industry charity The Drinks Trust, building on the money donated through its Shaken Not Broken fund that was started in light of the pandemic.

Sandra Brunet, marketing director of Campari Group UK, said: "Campari stands for 'red passion', the creative urge inside us that is impossible to ignore. We're thrilled to be back in full swing for Negroni Week this year, giving bartenders a chance to showcase their 'red passion' in one of the world's most iconic cocktails, providing Campari and Negroni lovers around the world with unique experiences, all for a worthy cause."
