Scotland's Boe Gin launches RTDs in Asda stores

Scotch gin brand Boe has secured a contract to stock two new ready-to-drink (RTD) products with major UK grocer Asda.

The 250ml cans come in two flavours, Boe Violet Gin and Rose Lemonade and Boe Passion Fruit Gin with Sicilian Lemonade, and will be available in Asda stores across Scotland.

Craig Gibb, head of retail UK, e-commerce and global export at Boe, said: "As a business which stands out from the crowd, we pride ourselves on our dedication to flavour innovation and creating gin combinationswhich our customers want.

"After extensive market research with our target audience, we found lemonade was the preferred mixer with gin instead of tonic - so that is the mixer we have included in our Passion Fruit and Violet Gin cans."

Heather Turnball, Asda's regional buying manager for Scotland, added: "We are delighted to list the new Boe Gin products to 70 Asda stores across Scotland. We trust our customers will love the convenient, ready-to-drink aspect of the cans, as well as having the choice between violet or passion fruit flavour.

Boe Gin is produced in small batches at a distillery in the village of Throsk, where the company has invested in state-of-the-art, carbon-neutral production facilities.
