London's Camden Town Brewery has partnered with nine female and non-binary artists in this year's instalment of its art gallery on-pack promotion, Fresh Prints.
Running for a third consecutive year, the 2021 Fresh Prints campaign is being curated in partnership with publication gal-dem, which champions female and non-binary artists of colour.
Due to the campaign's success in previous years, Camden Town Brewery is extending the Fresh Prints promotion to four-packs of Pale Ale and Off Menu, to encourage greater take-up of its wider core beer range, in addition to its flagship Hells Lager. The prints will be available across multiple Hells SKUs, including the 10- and 12-packs, with which fans will also be able to claim a free t-shirt.
For the first time, Fresh Prints packs will be available in supermarkets across the UK, giving the nine participating artists the chance to showcase their work on a national scale.
Inspired by Camden Hells' unpasteurised beers, the artists - Naomi Gennery, Parys Gardner, Mel Lou, Farzana Ahmed, Jada Bruney, Nicole Chui, Javie Huxley, Jasmin Sehra and Vivienne Shao - were briefed to create designs based on their interpretation of 'fresh' using their own styles of graphic design and illustration.
Zoe Wulfsohn-Dunkley, head of marketing at Camden Town Brewery, said: "We're so excited to see our Fresh Prints promotion back for another year, especially working with gal-dem to give women and non-binary people of colour a national platform for their artwork.
"Our previous collaborations with artists have been immensely popular with Camden fans, so we are delighted to offer nine new artists' prints to beer and art lovers alike. With the prints available on even more of our beers, whether you're a Hells Lager fan or Off Menu IPA is more your thing, there's a fresh print for you."
Emma Gordon, head of partnerships at gal-dem, said: "We are elated to be partnering with Camden Town Brewery to help elevate and spotlight these incredibly talented artists. The brand has a long history of supporting undiscovered talent, and we are honoured to be able to provide our network with this amazing opportunity to showcase their work to the masses."
The designs curated by gal-dem for 2021 will be available on selected Camden items in all major grocery retailers across the UK from the end of October, or via the Camden webshop.
