World Beer Awards 2022 open for entries

The World Beer Awards 2022 has opened for entries.

The annual awards judge and commend beers in a range of internationally recognised styles, including pale ale, lager, IPA, wheat, stout and porter, and sour and wild.

In recent years a 'no and low' category has also been introduced, in recognition of the growing market for non-alcoholic and low-alcohol alternatives.

In addition to judging taste, the World Beer Awards also commend outstanding design in the sector, from new launches to multipack designs.

Winners in the 2021 competition included Taxman Brewing Company, Indie Alehouse, Liefmans, and non-alcoholic brewer Big Drop.

As well as the World Beer Awards, entries have also opened for the Icons of Beer 2022, which recognise the very best people and places in the brewing industry.

Entries for the World Beer Awards 2022 are open until 15 May, with the winners set to be announced on 11 August. Find out more at www.worldbeerawards.com.
