British Airways to offer Aviation Gin on flights

Aviation American Gin is flying high after signing a deal with British Airways to serve its gin to passengers.

Customers flying with the airline between the UK and US, and on all other long-haul flights, can order Aviation Gin from the inflight menu. Short-haul customers can by it from the on-board Speedbird café.

To mark the partnership, Aviation Gin's co-owner Ryan Reynolds released a video spoofing an airline safety demonstration.

This deal is the latest step in Aviation Gin and British Airways' partnership, following the opening of the Aviation Gin bar in the airline's Club Lounge at JFK airport, New York in October 2021.

Gareth Williams, Aviation American Gin international brand director, said: "We're so excited to get on board with the UK flag carrier British Airways and take Aviation American Gin to new heights - the sky! Through this partnership, we're keen to enhance each traveller's experience with a deliciously refreshing Aviation Gin cocktail for flyers to enjoy on journeys near and far, offering an American twist on this quintessentially British drink."

Tom Stevens, British Airways' director of brand and customer experience, said: "Offering our customers a premium experiene throughout their journey is important to us. Partnering with Aviation American Gin is another great addition to our on-board service. We hope you customers join us in celebrating, with a refreshing gin and tonic."

In June, British Airways will be launching a new route to Portland, Oregon - the city where Aviation American Gin was founded in 2006 and is still based.
