Vodka brand Grey Goose is capturing fresh and fruity flavours in its latest production innovation, Grey Goose Essences.
Available in three flavours - Strawberry & Lemongrass, White Peach & Rosemary, and Watermelon & Basil - the vodka-based Grey Goose Essences spirits are created with fruit essences and cold-distilled botanicals.
Following its launch in the US, the range will debut in the UK in April. Ready-to-drink versions of the Grey Goose Essences expressions will also be launching in June, in the form of vodka spritzes.
Each Grey Goose Essences expression is 30% ABV and 82 calories per 50ml serving, while the ready-to-drink products are 4.5% ABV and 79 calories per 250ml can.
Martin de Dreuille, Grey Goose vice president of global marketing, said: "We are beyond thrilled to debut Grey Goose Essences. Spritzes and drinks featuring botanicals have been growing trends, and with consumers increasingly trying their hand at mixology, we knew there was an exciting opportunity to create a distinctive drink using real fruit essences that would take the guesswork out of mixing light-tasting and delicious cocktails at home."
Grey Goose cellar master François Thibault said: "Grey Goose Essences has been a labour of love for both myself and the brand. The freshest ingredients were meticulously searched and a unique distillation process is used for each fruit and each botanical to ensure we capture the purest flavour in every bottle. We're so excited to bring this new drink to market and all three Essences flavours reveal the most perfect expression of the ingredients they contain."
The Grey Goose Essences range will be available in the UK from April (RRP £39 per 700ml) from retailers including Waitrose, Majestic Wine and Costco along with select on-trade accounts.
