Brewers, beer retailers and drinks venues around the world are being encouraged to enter the inaugural Icons of Beer Awards.
Entries are now open for the 2022 competition, which aims to celebrate the best people and places in the world of beer, from the breweries that make it to the stores and bartenders who sell it.
it is organised by the team behind the World Beer Awards, which celebrates the very best of the global beer category.
Categories in the first competition include Bar / Pub Group, Online Retailer, Visitor Attraction and Supermarket of the Year, as well as three producer categories: Micro/Small Brewery (up to 15,000 hl); Medium Brewery (16,000-60,000 hl); and Large Brewery (over 60,000 hl). Companies are able to enter multiple categories (if applicable).
In addition, each brewery that has entered the World Beer Awards will get an extra 20 per cent off its Icons of Beer registration fee, as well as five promotional codes to share with bars and pubs so they can get a registration fee discount.
