Maison Martell launching in The Sandbox metaverse

Cognac House Maison Martell has announced that it will be creating an interactive experience in The Sandbox, becoming the first cognac house to enter the metaverse.

The new digital world will launch later in the year, giving people the opportunity to explore three centuries of Maison Martell history. A virtual exploration of the Martell chateau will also be included, somewhere that’s never been open to the public.

Other features available include games, a marketplace for limited edition collectible NFTs, live events and the opportunity for the guests to create their own virtual cognacs.

Another opportunity for the public is to greet famous and popular figures from Maison Martell’s history. Founder of the House Jean Martell, his wife Rachel Martell and current Cellar Master Christophe Valtaud are among those available to meet.
