Avaline welcome first Cabernet to organic wine range

Wine brand Avaline, co-founded by Cameron Diaz and Katherine Power, has announced its first Cabernet Sauvignon to join its organic wine range.

Avaline Cabernet Sauvignon is a vegan-friendly red wine made with 100% organic grapes and zero sugar. The producer has described the aromas as having notes of baking spices, subtle black fruits and cola, with notes of cherry fruits and chocolate on the palate.

Bottled at 14% ABV, it’s said that this varietal was the most requested by Avaline’s consumers.

“When we talked to our community about what wines they wanted next, we heard that they’d love to see a bolder red from us. This is for all the Cab lovers out there who have been seeking a delicious organic option,” said Power.

Diaz added: “Cabernet has always been something we wanted to do. I’m so glad we made it just time in for the holiday season. So light a candle, pour a glass and get cozy!”

Avaline Cabernet Sauvignon is available for $30 on the brand’s official website and will be eligible as part of the Avaline subscription.

As with their Chardonnay earlier this year, Avaline are partnering with Tagaris Winery. The family-owned winery based in Washington has 2,000 acres of vineyards, and their winemaker Frank Roth commented on the extended partnership: “We are so proud to be partnering with Avaline to bring our organically farmed with wine to a bigger audience. The organic movement is just beginning in the United States and this is such an exciting time. As organic grape growing pioneers in Washington State, we are thrilled that Avaline is raising the bar on organic Washington wine!”
