Takamaka announces two new appointments

Seychelles-based rum brand Takamaka has announced the appointments of Nicolas d’Offay and Nana Sechere as new European sales manager and brand ambassador respectively.

The growth in its corporate division comes as Takamaka marks its 20th year.

d’Offay comes with a background in marketing, commercialisation and production management, including a previous role as acting COO for Belgian company PSiO for nearly a decade.

Sechere, meanwhile, has over 19 years experience in the hospitality and beverage industry, including as a business advisory member and portfolio brand ambassador. He also created the podcast and training consultancy Host Master’s Academy.

Speaking on his new position, d’Offay commented: “I am looking forward to promoting the Takamaka brand internationally! I had always been a great supporter and admirer of the work initiated by Richard and Bernard d’Offay and furthered with the help of an amazing team of professionals who share their values and passion. It was thus an obvious choice to join.

Sechere said: “I hope to help the brand create bigger waves, and shine a positive light on the distillery, the family, and the island. To have the pleasure of representing Takamaka on such a big platform is something I am so proud to do. I can't wait to get started!”
