Wemyss Malts unveils new look for core collection

Wemyss Malts has unveiled a bold new look for its core collection of whiskies.

The roll-out of new packaging for its three core whiskies – The Hive, Spice King, and Peat Chimney – comes after a year of growth for family-owned blender Wemyss Malts in key markets including the UK, USA, Taiwan, France and Germany.

Wemyss Malts says the new packaging ties in with a new brand positioning and tagline, "vivid expressions in whisky", which will be shared with whisky drinkers around the world through activations over the next year.

William Wemyss, founder of Wemyss Malts, said: “The launch of our new positioning for Wemyss Malts signals the start of an exciting new chapter for the brand as we continue our global growth trajectory both in existing markets, such as Europe and Asia, and emerging territories including the US and Canada.

“Opening up an artful world of bold flavour, our Core Collection offers versatility of serve to suit the moment for both the whisky curious and aficionados alike.”

The new-look bottles of The Hive, Spice King, and Peat Chimney (46% ABV) will be available in the UK, US, Canada, Asia, and Europe from October 2022 (RRP £40).

Alongside its core collection, Scotland-based Wemyss Malts releases limited editions and single-cask whiskies into markets worldwide.
