Brown-Forman acquires Diplomático Rum

Brown-Forman has announced that its acquired Diplomático Rum, giving the company an entry into the growing super-premium + rum category.

As part of the acquisition, Brown-Forman has added a production facility to the company which is located in Panama. 

The rum will continue to be produced and aged by Destillers United Group S.L. in their original distillery, situated at the foot of the Andes mountain.
