Campari Group launching Del Professore

Campari Group has announced the launch of Del Professore, a collection of Italian Vermouth di Torino G.I. and gins that are said to embody the flair of American mixologist and cocktail culture trailblazer Jerry Thomas.

Del Professore Vermouth di Torino G.I. Rosso reproduces the style of Italian vermouth found between the 1800s and early 1900s, produced with a base of 100% Italian wines with flavourings derived from botanicals. 

Following the success of the vermouth collection with bartenders, three gins were added to the brand’s portfolio, inspired by the Prohibition Era and using the ‘bathtub method’ of gin production.

Del Professore creator Leonardo Leuci commented: “Del Professore is the culmination of my many years of dedication to the industry; I’ve spent my career mastering the art of mixology by learning from fellow bartenders around the world. I hope that this collection of vermouths and gins inspire bartenders around the world to continue to innovate and create cocktails with depth and meaning, while never forgetting the cocktail culture of the past.”

Campari Group will focus on four products in the Del Professore range, including:

• Del Professore Vermouth Rosso, 750ml
• Del Professore Gin Monsieur, 700ml
• Del Professore Gin Madame, 700ml
• Del Professore Gin Crocodile, 700ml
