Havana Club Máximo Extra Ańejo gets new look

Cuban rum brand Havana Club has unveiled a new look for its luxury expression, Havana Club Máximo Extra Ańejo.

The new packaging incorporates a modern twist on the distinguished crystal decanter, while the crystal stopper is engraved with the emblem of Havana, the Giraldilla, in contrasting gold.

The box protecting the packaging is made from certified wood by-products and boasts an 89% reduction of plastic components. An overall decrease of 20% of the number of components of the pack also adds to the sustainable practises of the redesign.

The liquid of the expression, of which only 1,000 bottles are made available each year, remains unchanged.

Anne Martin, Global Marketing Director for Havana Club, comments: “Havana Club Máximo Extra Añejo has always exemplified the very best of Cuban Rum; connoisseurs the world over recognise the decanter’s graceful lines which beautifully complement the expression’s vibrant, amber glow.”

“Now, a refreshed design even better embodies the spirit and heritage of this prestigious liquid, in addition to the know-how of our maestros, while acknowledging our responsibility to deliver the more recyclable, sustainable packaging global consumers call for.”

The repackaging is now offered worldwide.
