Rum brand Havana Club have collaborated with lifestyle company Places+Faces to launch a limited-edition capsule collection fronted by Headie One and Ming Savannah.
Four years on from their first, the 2023 collaboration features a limited-edition Places+Faces x Havana Club 7 bottle, using the vibrant colours and textures of Havana.
The bottle is complemented by a selection of merchandise, including t-shirts and hoodies.
50% of the sales of the collaborative items will be donated to supporting Black Learning Achievement and Mental Health (BLAM).
Places+Faces founder Imram Ciesay commented: “We wanted to do something different for our second collab with Havana. The first time we were there we treated the trip as flies on the wall, capturing the city in a very documentary style. For this collab we wanted to plan it out and treated it like we were shooting a short film, filming over multiple days and various locations all over Havana, casting a range of Cuban talent and having them perform in real spaces. We wanted to tell a story with our new film through the visuals capturing an essence of Cuba.”
The limited-edition bottle can be found in UK convenience stores now and will be available in select supermarkets from August. The merchandise collection associated with the bottle will be available here from 24 July.
Havana Club’s creative content manager Ian Mitchell added: “Havana Club are proud to invest in long-term relationships with a collaborator like Places+Faces. “We deeply value and respect the creative vision and community standing of Ciesay, Soulz and their team. The outputs from this collaboration look incredible - Headie and Ming have been excellent as our faces - and we’re raising a glass to the next 10 years of success for Places+Faces.”
The campaign film fronted by Headie One and Ming Savannah can now be watched here.
