Maison Martell releases L’Or de Jean Martell Zodiac Edition

Maison Martell have released its annual exclusive edition of its cognac, to mark its historic ties with China. Inspired by 2024’s zodiac animal, the dragon, the House is presenting L’Or de Jean Martell Zodiac Edition – Assemblage du Dragon.

The rare edition is available is in limited supply, with just fewer than 750 bottles that are individually numbered.

The blend has been created by cellar master Christophe Valtaud, who wanted to focus on enriching L’Or de Jean Martell without making any changes to its essence. Valtaurd selected eaux-de-vie drawn from previous years of the Dragon and combined them with the original blend.

To showcase the limited edition release, Maison Martell have collaborated with French manufacturers Baccarat on the creation of a decanter, which includes a neck engraved with 19-carat gold and crowned with the sculpture of a dragon’s head. Inside, the box features red metal doors with a pattern inspired by dragon’s skin, resting on a gold-toned pedestal. The backdrop features motifs of grapevines, oak barrels and Martell swifts.

Malaysia, Hong-Kong, mainland China, Taiwan, Singapore and Thailand. Availability is also in USA.
