Eden Mill announces opening date for new Edinburgh immersive experience

St Andrews-based independent distiller Eden Mill has announced The Eden Mill Experience, which will open on Saturday 3 February. The company’s first brand-owned venue in Edinburgh, the new venture will be located at the Head & Tales Gin Bar.

The immersive experience will offer two interactive mixology sessions with a range of cocktails featuring Eden Mill products, as well as the chance to hear the stories behind the brand’s spirits.

The Share the Love Gin interactive experience will feature the brand’s Love Gin in three cocktails, and share the story of Love Gin’s origins. Originally created as a limited-edition Valentine’s Day spirit for 2015, Love Gin is now a core offering in the Eden Mill portfolio.

For whisky fans, The Guard Bridge Masterclass is the second offering in the experience. Featuring The Guard Bridge Blended Malt Scotch Whisky, designed for mixing in cocktails, the masterclass will showcase three cocktails to demonstrate the whisky’s versatility.

Hannah Ingram, head of marketing at Eden Mill, says: “We are thrilled to bring a taste of St Andrews to the Scottish capital. It’s a really proud moment for us to launch a venue in a city with such a vibrant drinks scene. To have our very own Eden Mill experience in Edinburgh is an honour and an exciting milestone for the brand.

“While our new distillery is being built, this is the perfect opportunity to showcase the versatility our expressions have, through inventive and delicious cocktails. The experiences are really special, interactive and immersive and we can’t wait to see the reaction from Scotland’s wonderful capital.”

Currently under construction, Eden Mill’s whisky and gin distillery is due to become operational later in 2024 in St Andrews. The distillery’s journey has been recorded on the Eden Mill website.

The Eden Mill Experience will open on Saturday 3rd February 2024. Bookings are open via edenmill.com.
