St. Regis Bar releases second generation barrel select gin

St. Regis Bar, of the luxury mountain resort The St. Regis Deer Valley in Utah, has announced the second generation of its barrel-aged gin. The gin is made in partnership with Park City’s Alpine Distilling.

The St. Regis Barrel Select Gin is aged for two and a half years in American oak barrels for complexity of flavour. The flavour profile supplied by the brand highlights the juniper-forward flavour, with notes of coriander, lemon peel and liquorice root. Just 600 bottles have been produced for the release.

Sara Sergent, co-founder and co-owner of Alpine Distilling, comments: “The Barrel Select Gin is a world-class, award-winning spirit that blends the beauty of the Wasatch Mountains and the unmatched luxury offered by the St. Regis Deer Valley and the adventurous innovation of Alpine Distilling.

The considerable time Alpine Distilling invested in the botanical blend and distillation process combined with two and a half years of aging before bottling ensures a showcase gin. Enjoy Barrel Select Gin as a neat sipper, over ice, as an Old Fashioned, a French 75 or an original creation.”

The St. Regis Barrel Select Gin will be available to purchase from the St. Regis Deer Valley resort’s dining venues.
