Añejo Tequila joins Cazcabel range

Cazcabel Tequila has launched aged Tequila Añejo. The new release joins the Blanco and Resposado styles in Cazcabel’s range.

Cazcabel is led by the Vaquez family, whose agave farming history goes back four generations. The brand’s Tequila is made from 100 per cent blue weber agave that is grown for a minimum of seven years.

The Cazcabel Añejo is made in the Jalisco mountains in Atotonilco el Alto and has been aged for 14 months in ex-Tennessee whisky American oak barrels, to develop its flavour profile.

Global brand ambassador for Cazcabel Nate Sorby commented: “Appreciation of Tequila is evolving across the world and increasingly people appreciate the experience of sipping Tequila to savour the flavour.

“Introducing Añejo, our new aged Tequila with distinct notes of cacao and cooked agave, that is best enjoyed neat or over ice. It is a fantastic addition to the Cazcabel range and the perfect introduction for those wanting to try aged Tequila.”

Cazcabel Añejo is available now from various drinks retailers in the UK with an RRP of £43.99.
