Jackton Distillery, home to RAER Scotch whisky and Jackton Spirits, has invested in McLean’s Gin. A family-owned distillery, Jackton was founded in 2020 and has a portfolio of blended Scotch whisky, gin, and vodka.

 

To mark its new partnership with McLean’s Gin, Jackton has re-released McLean’s most popular gin this Valentine’s Day. Something Blue gin was created to celebrate the wedding of the brand’s founders and brings together botanicals tonka bean and buchu leaf. 

 

Something Blue is a colour-changing gin, changing from blue to pick upon pouring. Tasting notes supplied by the brand include flavours of florals, marzipan, and garden herbs. 

 

McLean’s Gin started as a side project for founders Colin and Jessica McLean in their Glasgow flat in 2017. The investment from Jackton Distillery is a demonstration of the company’s dedication to support small Scottish business as it diversifies its spirits offering.
