Juggernaut Wines adds Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc to portfolio

Californian brand Juggernaut Wines has announced Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, the newest addition to its portfolio.

The release is the first internationally grown and imported wine from Juggernaut since its founding in 2018, cultivated in Marlborough, New Zealand. Born of a partnership with the MacDonald family of Marlborough, the new wine is a blend from the MacDonalds’ two vineyards.

Juggernaut winemaker Eric Aafedt commented “It has been exciting to expand our portfolio for Juggernaut beyond California and tap into the world-renowned Marlborough region.”

“Following the success of our Chardonnay last year, the introduction of Sauvignon Blanc to the Juggernaut portfolio felt like a natural next step for the brand. Expanding our horizons to New Zealand was a welcomed challenge that goes perfectly with the Juggernaut ethos that overcoming challenges builds character.”

Each release from Juggernaut showcases a different alpha predator (or ‘juggernaut’) on its label. The Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc depicts a killer whale, which are native to New Zealand.

Committed to protecting the animals and environment on its labels, Juggernaut has recently partnered with global clean up organisation 4ocean. The brand has committed to removing 10,000 pounds of waste from the ocean in 2024.

Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is available now on Juggernaut’s website and at retail stores nationwide in the US with a suggested retail price of US$16.
