Fèis Ìle distillery days announced

Islay whisky festival Fèis Ìle is returning for 2024 on 24 May–1 June, and tickets are now on sale to the general public.

Celebrating the whisky of Islay, Fèis Ìle brings together the island’s distilleries. Each day of the festival, the featured Islay distilleries will open their doors to guests, for tours, tastings, talks, and more.

The festival will launch on Friday 24 May with a parade through Port Ellen and displays from circus performers.

Distilleries welcoming guests during the week include Lagavulin, Bruichladdich, Caol Ila, Port Ellen, Jura, and many more. Throughout the week there will be separate festival events, such as live music on the Fèis Ìle folk night, a family-friendly ceilidh, and interactive illicit distillers experiences.

This 2024 festival is the first since Caol Ila gained its new distillery manager, Eva Cumming. She commented: “Seeing all the energy and enthusiasm the team has put into creating our experiences has been a real inspiration. This festival is on the bucket list of pretty much every Islay whisky lover no matter where they are in the world, and I can confidently say there will be some wonderful memories made this May.”
