Gérard Bertrand, Languedoc wine producer, has announced the latest limited-edition rosé in his winery’s Côte des Roses collection.

 

For the new Art Edition, Bertrand and his daughter, director of creation Emma Bertrand, collaborated with Australian artist Morgan Jamieson. Inspired by nature, Jamieson’s floral design reflects the wine’s bouquet. The design showcases wild roses in white, pink, and yellow, drawing on Jamieson’s playful artistic style.

 

Certified organic and from the Appellation d'Origine Protégée (protected designation of origin) of Languedoc in France, the Côte des Roses Art Edition 2023 is blended from Grenache, Cinsault, and Syrah grapes. 

 

The brand describes the resulting rosé as “perfect for summer sipping”, with flavours of strawberry, cherry, and liquorice. 

 

Côte des Roses Art Edition 2023 will be available from 22 April 2024 in Waitrose stores and online.
