Pillars Brewery announces 80 per cent production increase

East London craft lager brewery Pillars has announced an 80 per cent increase in production in the last year. In order to expand capacity, the brewery has installed horizontal tanks.

The brewery is planning further growth, with plans to build a new brewery and continue to increase capacity and production. Pillars Brewery was founded in 2016 by the three Razaq brothers, Eamonn, Samie, and Omar, and their friend Gavin Litton.

Samie Razaq, co-founder and director of brand and marketing, commented: “We are on a mission to become the most loved lager brand in the country. Two of every three pints bought in the UK are lager and we want to elevate the standard of such a well-loved drink.”

Pillars’ range of beers includes various styles of lager, including the brand’s annually released Icebock, a two-time UK winner in the World Beer Awards
