The winners of the World Drinks Awards 2024 have been revealed. The announcement includes winners in a breadth of categories, including agave spirits, liqueurs, and rum. 

 

David T Smith, chair of judges for the World Drinks Awards, commented: “This year’s World Drinks Awards has been particularly exciting and has been a great way to round-out the judging season. We had an incredible response to our pastis competition and it was great to see the new innovation in such an established category.”

 

All entries to the World Drinks Awards are blind tasted, with the aim to showcase the diversity of drinks in the beverage industry. 

 

Tobias Gorn, chair of judges for the World Liqueur Awards, added: “…We have seen a lovely variety and diversity of entries. We had a fantastic time judging with some industry legends and friends and after some lovely discussions we came up with some great results.”

 

Awardees this year include Stiggins’ Fancy Pineapple for World’s Best Flavoured Rum, Schluck’s Dry for World’s Best Dry Vermouth and Wicker Basket’s Tea Spritz for World’s Best Speciality Cocktail.

The World Drinks Awards recently announced that the entry deadline for its World Beer Awards and World Cider Awards had been extended to 17 May.
