SoGood Saké arrives in UK from California

Californian brand SoGood Saké has launched its debut expression, a Junmai Daiginjo, in the UK.

Founded in 2019, SoGood is made with rice grown in Sacramento, California and spring water from the Sierra Nevada mountain range. It is then made at the SakeOne brewery in Oregon.

The producers say the ingredient combination and Californian climate give SoGood flavours of citrus, melon, honey, and apple.

Ken LaGrande, co-founder of SoGood Saké, commented: “Inspired by four generations of rice farming in California,  SoGood Saké marks a new standard for sake and we’re extremely excited to launch this premium liquid in the UK.

“We hope that our modern take on this iconic drink will inspire consumers to break from tradition and enjoy sake as part of a cocktail or with their favourite foods. But however people choose to enjoy it, we follow one rule: don’t pour your own.”

SoGood Saké (15.5% ABV, RRP £35.50 for 750ml) is available at various on-trade locations in London, online via SoGood Saké, and via select retailers.
