Stags’ Leap Winery partners with Cirque du Soleil
Napa Valley, California’s Stags’ Leap Winery has announced a partnership with Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group. Under the partnership, Stags’ Leap will be the official wine of Cirque du Soleil’s United States tour for a year, beginning in June 2024.
During the tour, concessions will serve the wine brand’s Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. In select cities, the tour will also feature a Stags’ Leap Winery lounge. The partnership will also see Stags’ Leap in multimedia branding on tour, and in social media collaborations with the circus group.
Stags’ Leap is named for a mythical stag who escaped capture into the mountains nearby the winery. Brand director Megan O’Connor commented: “Our stag is a symbol of courage and freedom, emboldening everyone to explore all that life has to offer in the pursuit of pleasure.
“I cannot think of a more perfect partner than Cirque du Soleil, whose performances have transformed live entertainment by encouraging all of us to dream the unimaginable.”
The Cirque du Soleil tour opens on 8 June in California. The tour will visit 10 markets in the US over the next year, bringing with it Stags’ Leap wines.
