Cotswolds launches campaign for flagship gin

Cotswolds Distillery has launched a digital advertising campaign centred on its flagship dry gin. The ‘Today will be Cloudy and Dry’ campaign focuses on the cloudy and dry aspects of the gin — the high amount of essential oils gives a pearlescent effect when mixed with ice and tonic. 
 
The campaign is sister to Cotswolds’ ‘English for Whisky’ campaign launched autumn 2023 which highlights the brand’s origins. 
 
Dan Szor, founder, commented: “We are really excited to bring to life our Cotswolds Dry Gin through this engaging and quirky campaign, ‘Today will be Cloudy and Dry’. It plays on two of the key features our gin offers consumers, a dry gin but one which has a beautiful and cloudy appearance when mixed with ice and tonic. We hope it communicates the story of our brand and how we have created a distinctive and very English gin full of flavour.”
 
The campaign was developed by Szor and marketing director Kate Harrison alongside View Creative. Launching this week, it will include digital marketing, point of sale, PR, and social media. 

18 June 2024 - Lucy Schofield
