Watsons’ Renais gin to launch in US

Renais, the gin brand founded by siblings Alex and Emma Watson, has announced its United States launch. The gin will initially launch in on-trade premises in California in July, before rolling out across 40 states later in 2024.
 
To manage the rollout, Renais has partnered with US distributor RNDC. The announcement follows the brand’s appointment of Proof Drinks as its UK distributor.
 
In celebration of the expansion into the US, Renais has released a campaign video directed and styled by Emma Watson. The video explores the brand’s origins and winemaking inspiration; Renais is made from byproduct grapes from the Watson family vineyard.
 
The brand will also release a limited-edition sleeve (pictured) exclusively available in the US, customisable with a set of stickers. The summer-themed sleeve utilises illustrations by Emma, whose botanical-inspired drawings have previously featured on special editions of Renais gin.

Emma added “The US has been my second home since I first went to Brown in Rhode Island, so I am thrilled to be bringing Renais abroad and home again!”
 
Renais will launch in 40 US states in 2024. It is currently distributed in the UK, US, Italy, Germany, and Australia.
