Ben Lomond Gin releases first non-alcoholic spirit

Ben Lomond Gin has announced the release of Ben Lomond Non-Alcoholic Botanical Spirit. Inspired by the citrus and juniper flavours of the brand’s flagship full-strength gin, the new release sits at less than 0.5% ABV.

To complement the brand’s signature flavours, the Non-Alcoholic Botanical Spirit uses Scottish rowan berries and blackcurrants, with juniper, orange peel, and red peppercorns.

The non-alcoholic spirit will be debuted at golf tournament the 152nd Open at Royal Troon in July. In 2023, Ben Lomond was the Open’s first official gin. Alongside the Non-Alcoholic Botanical Spirit Ben Lomond will serve the Open 2024 Special Edition (43% ABV) which includes botanicals picked from Royal Troon.

John Grieveson, chief marketing officer of Ben Lomond Gin owner Loch Lomond Group, said: “Over the last few years, we’ve seen the trend towards more mindful consumption increasing. However, this doesn’t mean consumers should have to compromise on quality or taste.

“Ben Lomond Gin has always been passionate about giving people the freedom to explore, to drink wherever and however they choose. Our Non-Alcoholic Botanical Spirit is a delicious non-alcoholic gin alternative to be savoured anywhere you choose, ensuring you can fully embrace everyday adventure.”
