Hunter Luxury becomes a B Corp
Packaging supplier Hunter Luxury has received a B Corp certification. To become a B Corp, companies must meet high social and environmental impact standards.
Hunter says it incorporates sustainable practices throughout its packaging development processes, including educating its customers on sustainable materials available. Other measures include strategic finishing techniques and structural designs for sustainability, and efforts to keep supply chains ethical.
Hunter’s environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategy and implementation lead Stephen Richmond oversees the company’s governance standards and ensures it meets its social and sustainability goals.
Hunter Luxury has supplied packaging to brands across the drinks and spirits industry, including whisky clients Macallan, Old Pulteney, and Jack Daniel’s.
Mike Banister, CEO of Hunter Luxury, said: “Continuous improvement, equity, and sustainability are ingrained into the core of our business’ DNA. As leaders in the luxury packaging segment, we understand the responsibilities that come with our privileged position. As a result, we are immensely proud to join the B Corp community as part of our mission to be a force for good in the packaging industry.”
He continued: “Whether it is through helping our customers reduce the environmental footprint of their packaging portfolio, or promoting responsible sourcing practices wherever we can, we know our impact goes far beyond putting exquisite packaging on shelves. We’re committed to increasing that impact bit by bit every day — and we’re proud to embark on this journey with the B Corp community.”
