Holyrood Distillery appoints brand and marketing director
Edinburgh distillery Holyrood has appointed Jill Inglis as its brand and marketing director.
Inglis joins Holyrood from her most recent role as senior brand manager for whisky company Gordon & MacPhail, where she worked on brands Benromach and the Cairn. Her 20-year industry experience includes 16 years at Whyte and MacKay.
At Holyrood, Inglis will have responsibility for the strategic planning and development of the distillery’s spirits portfolio, as well as its brand home. Inglis will focus on “building strong and sustainable growth” for Holyrood. The distillery has seen recent market expansions into Europe and the US.
Managing director Huw Wright commented: “We are delighted to be welcoming Jill to the team. Jill’s breadth of experience coupled with her obvious passion and knowledge of the industry will be key to the continued success of our ever-expanding portfolio and how our unique message lands with consumers.”
Inglis added: “I am thrilled to join the team at Holyrood at such an exciting time. Their mission and vision are unique as a producer, and they have an incredible one-of-a-kind proposition to communicate. I can’t wait to get started with the team and be part of Holyrood’s journey.”
